Booking Policy

The following policy applies to all Show Beijing booking services at showbeijing.com, including those on it's partnering websites (1).

Payment in Advance

Whenever applicable, the price of tickets is to be paid in advance upon the time of booking. This will confirm your reservation for the venue.

The currency used for online payments is US dollar — the final amount to be paid per person for each type of ticket is shown on the booking form and includes all applicable surcharges and fees.

The local ticket office price in Chinese Yuan (CNY) is shown for reference only and is not an exact representation of the total price of tickets.

Payments are made through a secure PayPal payment system, which accepts all major credit & debit cards. Or optionally by money transfer with WeChat Pay or Alipay.

Please note! An account or registration with PayPal services is not needed.

Payment at the Venue

When prepayment is not applicable, depending on the venue payment is made either directly at the venue or to our staff who comes to meet you at or nearby the venue. These payments are made exclusively in Chinese Yuan (CNY) only.

Collection of Tickets

The method of collecting tickets is different for each venue. You may have to show your booking number, or booking confirmation at the ticket window. It can also be a specific location or machine designated for ticket collection, organized by the venue.

Also for some venues our staff will come and meet you at a designated time and place at or nearby the venue, holding a sign with your name on it. They will exchange tickets with booking confirmation holders.

If you are late, or cannot come. Please, contact us as soon as possible through the contact form, email or phone.

Cancellation & refunds

The policy for ticket cancellation, and refunds is different for each venue.

However, to be eligible for a refund for prepaid venues, common factors are;

- You must cancel in written by email, or by calling us within a given time limit assigned for the specific venue (see below for time limits for each venue).

- If you request for a refund by opening a dispute through PayPal (not recommended), you are only eligible for a refund if you do so within the time limit.

- We do not accept cancelation requests by messaging through PayPal, or means other than email or phone.

- The cancellation must be confirmed to be valid. We are neither responsible for undelivered email, so please contact as soon as possible to make sure there is no problem.

To change details of your booking, such as date, number of people or seat section, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accomodate the change, but cannot guarantee it.

Chaoyang Theatre;

If you cancel your show booking more than 2 hours before the show starts, you will be guaranteed a full refund of the payment.

Please note;

In the case of late cancelation, please contact us as soon as possible and we will compensate the loss whenever possible.

Rescheduling & overbooking

We reserve the right to change or cancel your tickets at any time, if for any reason the booked venue has been rescheduled, cancelled, or overbooked.

When possible, you will have the option to change to another date, or time. In any case, if you have paid for your reservation, you have the right to receive a full refund of cancelled tickets.
